Lisa Mackem
Lisa Mackem lives in Reston where she, her husband, and their two indoor cats like to watch the birds at their feeders and nesting around their house. The Barred Owls are their favorites, and they are frequent visitors. Lisa has seen two seasons of Barred Owl chicks being raised in her neighborhood trees.
Lisa works as a technical writer and trainer for Fiserv. When she is not working or watching birds and other wildlife around her home, Lisa is usually outdoors and active, often training for and competing in running races and triathlons. She also enjoys and appreciates the music, theater, and other artistic and cultural offerings in the area.
