Andreana J. Lin
Before joining the ASNV board, Andreana was one of the founding members of Nextgen Birders for Conservation (Nextgen), ASNV’s group for younger birders between the ages of 18-45, now serving as its event coordinator. She is a 2022 graduate of George Mason University with a B.F.A. in creative writing and a double minor in conservation sciences and professional and technical writing. Her interest in birding and conservation began with a birding practicum at the Smithsonian-Mason School of Conservation in 2020.
As a young Korean-American woman, Andreana works to introduce birdwatching and an awareness of the importance of conservation and sustainability to a diverse range of individuals from all walks of life. Other interests include Tae Kwon Do, breakdancing, and practicing Korean and Japanese. She lives in Alexandria with her mother, three younger brothers, and a budgie named Benny.
