Education Committee
- Committee chair to direct the types of future education offerings
- Adult education classes called "Learn, Enjoy, Appreciate, Preserve, and Protect (LEAPP)"
- Nature Nights - quarterly membership meetings with an environmental speaker Audubon at Home Seminars - to help individuals and groups create a natural habitat in their backyards
- Field trips - including bird walks and much more
Conservation Committee
- Bird counts - help track the number of birds in the area and help landowners know how to manage their properties
- Audubon at Home plantings
- Audubon at Home Stewards who become experts in eco-friendly landscaping and advise other local landowners
Advocacy Committee
- Position papers about environmental issues in the area
- Lobby local and Virginia state government officials
- Participate in public meetings
