Are you a teen looking for other teens to go birding with? Are you tired of waiting for your parents' schedules to free up long enough to take you on a birding trip? Are you eager to get out birding every chance you get?

If so, join the Northern Virginia Teen Birding Club sponsored by Audubon Society of Northern Virginia (ASNV) and Flint Hill School. Both experts and beginners are welcome.


The club is led by Fred Atwood and any dedicated students who express an interest in serving in a leadership role.  Atwood is an ASNV member who has been an enthusiastic birder ever since he was a "wee lad" and who has taught high school ornithology and led tropical ecology study trips for nearly twenty years.
