1. Bringing Native Plants and Wildlife into the Managed Landscape
   
   This program introduces people to the Audubon at Home in Northern Virginia program. The program helps people to practice environmentally-friendly landscaping on all sizes of property from multi-acre woods and lawns to balconies and patios. It describes the five Audubon at Home principles, which help protect and conserve our water and natural resources while providing needed habitat for native wildlife right in our communities.
   
   

2. Birds in Northern Virginia

   
   This presentation is based on ASNV’s publication by the same name. This presentation provides details about the population trends of various species that are seasonal or year-round residents in the region. It also discusses factors that contribute to these trends and actions people can take to reverse the downward trends that some species are experiencing.

3. Wildlife of the Potomac River
   
   This program showcases some of the winged creatures that live alongside people in this bustling metropolis. Birds, butterflies and dragonflies are the focus.

4. Creating Native Meadows in Your Neighborhood
   
   This program also introduces the principles of Audubon at Home but focuses specifically on meadows.
   
   
5. Birds in Our Landscape
   
   Targeted for 2nd graders, this program introduces "adaptation," part of the standards of learning.
6. Birds in Our Landscape
   
   For the general public, this program is about providing for the needs of birds in the managed landscape. It incorporates discussion of bird feeders, bird baths, and plants that provide food and shelter.
   
   
7. Living in a Watershed
   
   This program provides suggestions for sustainable storm water management.
   
   
8. Bringing Children to Nature by Bringing Nature to Children
   
   This program focuses on Audubon at Home in the schoolyard. This presentation discusses the value of native habitat in the schoolyard as a teaching tool and as a way to connect children with nature through outdoor learning experiences.
