Not sure whether that tendrilled vine is porcelain-berry or native grape? Wondering how to start tackling the infestation of English ivy that is smothering your trees? At this workshop, you will learn to identify some of the most common invasive plants in this region, such as garlic mustard, Japanese honeysuckle, and burning bush, which destroy native diversity. Come away with some basic removal techniques as well. Take home a copy of the field identification and treatment guide that has detailed photos and information on fifteen of the region’s most common and tenacious invasive plants.
